Define research topics & experiments per system and product needs
Conducting research on defined topics, collecting the data, analyzing and interpreting the data and insights to technology capabilities and product requirements and specifications enabling the system team to design the product
Designing and building experimental setups, test setups and methods for measuring system performance. Analyzing, interpreting, and reporting results to support system design and define system requirements
Researching new methods or theories of physics or engineering, applying existing knowledge to new situations, and developing new knowledge through experimentation. contributing to innovation
Determining the physical standards of various phenomenons, materials and technology boundaries
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the company
Qualifications:
Education: Phd Physics – Mandatory
At least 7 years in experimental physicist role or experience as electro-optical physicist
Proven experience in working on electro optical or other related sensors, dealing w/ noise
Hands on experience with optical systems design – must
Hands on experience with emitters – must
Experience with simulation tools & Python
Working knowledge with imaging systems design (CMOS, optical params, …) – must
Experience in biophysics – Adv
Deploying multi-disciplinary products to mass production – Adv
