Job Description:
In this role you will lead Q’s multidisciplinary system Hardware design. Designing various HW setups such as: development kit, prototypes, experimental HW and more. Design the Q product HW, deal with Bluetooth, compute, power and signal integrity. Work with Q’s vendors and suppliers to develop the final product, focusing on HW aspects, component selection, power, design for manufacturing, reliability and cost. Take full ownership on Q HW from design to manufacturing and mass production of all HW aspects to product qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Q board design development
- Work with Q System team to define HW requirements and design the HW
- Own and develop Q board design methodology & infrastructure
- Design development kit, HW for POC, and final product HW
- Bring up and Validate design
- Work with Q’s vendors and contract manufacturing on component selection, design adjustment and review
- Production support
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years board design experience
- At least 3 years as a lead designer
- Proven experience in delivering consumer electronics devices, with an advantage in wearable devices
- Hands on experience with BLE and RF design – advantage
- Hands on experience with low power design – advantage
- Hands on experience with imaging systems – advantage
- Experience with CAD and simulation tools
- Deploying multi-disciplinary products to mass production – advantage
- Outstanding team player and communicator
- Education: B.Sc in EE – Mandatory M.Sc in EE or System Engineer – advantage
