Responsibilities
We're looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated QA Engineer to elevate the quality of our software products. As a QA engineer at Q you will be a key player in our team, in charge of performing comprehensive elaborate test plans, ensuring our software meets the highest standards of quality, reliability and performance.
You will be required to:
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases for our software applications
- Collaborate closely with the software development team to understand requirements and ensure robust test coverage
- Execute test plans, identify defects, and work with the development team to address issues
- Provide detailed and clear test reports for management and cross-functional teams
- Ensure our software is optimized for performance and scalability in Mac and Linux environments
- Stay up-to-date with emerging QA methodologies, tools, and technologies
- Drive the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and methodologies - an advantage
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in QA automation
- Familiarity in QA methodologies, automation tools and frameworks such as Jira and Jenkinks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field - advantage
- Proficiency in scripting languages suitable for automation such as Python or Bash - advantage
- Deep knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git - advantage
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving skills
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Proven experience in manual testing of hardware-based products.
