We are currently seeking a Help Desk Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Help Desk Technician, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing innovative networking/virtualization solutions and optimizing our datacenter architecture.
This role is fully onsite
Responsibilities
- Providing technical support to Q employees, resolving their technical issues promptly and effectively.
- Perform capacity planning, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting of virtualized environments to ensure optimal performance and resource utilization.
- Work closely with R&D users to understand their business needs, support them, propose appropriate solutions, and deliver projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Provide support and day to day tasks to the entire company employee.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) in tech support role, specializing in virtualization.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware.
- Familiarity with server hardware, including rack-mount and blade servers.
- Knowledge of operating systems, including Ubuntu, MacOS, Windows.
- Proven experience as an Active Directory Administrator in a large enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and services, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, RADIUS.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Google G Suite / Office 365 Suite, Slack, Github, Zoom
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
