Job Description:
Product QA Test Lead will work with a diverse team of testers to ensure an exceptional user experience for our consumers. This role is critical in shaping the quality of the product and demands a strong focus on the end-user perspective. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional who can empathize with end users, identify functional and usability issues, validate product’s functionality and uphold product excellence.

Responsibilities:
- Design and execute real-world test plans based on PRD
- Validate functionality, connectivity, firmware updates, and OS compatibility
- Simulate real-world usage to identify limitations and usability issues
- Ensure ease of use and overall user satisfaction across hardware, software, and apps
- Advocate for end users by communicating usability concerns to stakeholders
- Promote a user-centric QA culture
- Lead and mentor testers in manual, automation, and usability testing
- Assign tasks, track progress, and ensure timely test execution
- Collaborate with designers and product managers on improvements
- Oversee test coverage, defect tracking, and reporting
- Ensure efficient issue resolution with actionable feedback
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Product QA, with a focus on user-centric testing
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams of testers
- Experience in testing of mobile applications (iOS and Android)
- Knowledge of principles and methods of usability testing
- Familiarity with testing tools and defect tracking systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in scripting for automation (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
