Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced physicist who likes fast pace transitioning between science and application. The main mission has never been done before, and we want to develop the technology to implement it in a product for the general consumer. The successful candidate will drive technological decisions, mentor junior physicists, and collaborate with engineering and product teams. The needed moto in this job is “anything is possible”, as we are doing the impossible.

Responsibilities:
- Understand the needed system characteristics, leading to a robust implementation of the technology
- Be responsible for cutting edge experiments
- Study alternative technologies to find the ideal technology for our product
- Anticipate potential risks, proactively troubleshoot system-level issues, and implement effective solutions
- Stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvements
- Work closely with leadership and multidisciplinary teams to align system development with overall product goals
Qualifications:
- PhD in physics or EE
- Experience in electrooptical systems
- Experience in acousto-optical systems
- Experience in control systems, as well as MEMS
- 5+ years of experience with proven success in high level research lead
- Proven expertise in system architecture, integration, and performance optimization
- Extensive experience with experimental work, as well as algorithms development
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and drive technical excellence within engineering teams
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects while prioritizing effectively
