We seek an experienced Bluetooth & Wireless Validation Engineer who will play a critical role in defining, monitoring and developing in the system validation team.

In this position, you will define, design, and collaborate closely with R&D teams from several subsystems like  HW, electro-optics,  FW, physics and system

Responsibilities:

Wireless & Bluetooth Validation

  • Develop and execute test plans for Bluetooth (BT) and wireless technologies, including BT, BLE, UWB, and other RF protocols.
  • Perform functional, interoperability, and performance validation across different hardware and firmware versions.
  • Validate wireless coexistence between Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and other wireless technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with Bluetooth SIG, FCC, CE, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct over-the-air (OTA) testing, range measurements, and power consumption analysis.

Testing & Debugging

  • Utilize tools like BT sniffers, spectrum analyzers, and protocol analyzers to capture and debug issues.
  • Analyze packet-level performance using tools such as Ellisys, Frontline, or Wireshark.
  • Investigate interference and signal degradation using RF chamber setups.
  • Optimize wireless latency, throughput, and error rates under real-world conditions.
  • Implement telemetry collection for RSSI, SNR, PER, jitter, and latency metrics.
  • Work with Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW for scripting test automation.
  • Support cloud-based and remote wireless testing environments.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in Bluetooth and wireless validation or RF testing.
  • Strong knowledge of Bluetooth (Classic, BLE), Wi-Fi (802.11), and RF fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with wireless test equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, protocol sniffers).
  • Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW for test automation.
  • Familiarity with Bluetooth stack layers (HCI, L2CAP, GATT, A2DP, HFP, etc.).
  • Experience with wireless debugging tools (Ellisys, Frontline, Wireshark, or similar).
  • Understanding of coexistence testing, interference mitigation, and signal integrity.
  • Excellent problem-solving and RF debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in audio-over-Bluetooth testing (latency, codec performance).
  • Familiarity with mobile OS Bluetooth stacks (Android, iOS, Windows, Linux).
  • Knowledge of wireless regulatory compliance (FCC, CE, Bluetooth SIG).
  • Hands-on experience with embedded firmware debugging tools.
