Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced System Engineer to define, design, and integrate multi-disciplinary systems which include mechanics, electro-optics, communication subsystems, and advanced algorithms.
You drive strategic decisions, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to develop high-quality, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the system architecture, ensuring seamless integration of hardware and software components while optimizing system performance and reliability.
- Guide the development of unique state-of-the-art subsystems in areas such as sensing modules, communication/RF and system logic, tackling complex hardware constraints.
- Guide and use data-based analysis and experimental activities to define system requirements and map system trade-offs to evaluate the optimal solution.
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering innovation and best practices in system engineering.
- Lead vendor selection, negotiations, and collaborations with external contractors to ensure high-quality and timely development.
- Oversee and define robust testing methodologies, ensuring system verification, validation, and compliance with industry standards.
- Anticipate potential risks, proactively troubleshoot system-level issues (HW, FW, SW), and implement effective solutions.
- Stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies (e.g., IMU, proximity sensors, TOF) to drive innovation and continuous improvements.
- Work closely with leadership and multidisciplinary teams (Mechanics, Physics, HW, SW, Algo) to align system development with overall product goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical, Software, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in system engineering , including defining and managing complex system requirements - from early POC stage to final delivery.
- Proven expertise in system architecture, integration, and performance optimization.
- Proven experience in Electro optics, communication/RF systems or HW design - A must
- Extensive experience with algorithms development, ML, signal processing, and sensor fusion.
- Strong track record in leading collaborations with external contractors and manufacturers.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strategic and proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience including lab testings and prototype bring-ups.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and drive technical excellence within engineering teams.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects while prioritizing effectively.
